Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Engineering College Kangra at Nagrota Bagwan is the third Government Engineering College of Himachal Pradesh, established in 2014 and started from academic year 2014-15 with three disciplines: Civil, Mechanical and Electronics and Communication with 60 intake for each.

RGGEC Kangra is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The College is currently running in a temporary campus at Govt. Degree College Nagrota Bagwan.

The college campus is coming up in a place called Massal, 3 Km from Nagrota Bagwan bus stand, adjoining Nagrota railway station.

Admission: Admission to the degree courses is made on the basis of marks scored in Joint Engineering Entrance(JEE) through a state level counseling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Himachal Pradesh.
