Hi Neelam!
You raised a feasible question. To understand in simple term education qualification is only a rejection process. In the current world of competition where there are thousands of applicant versus fewer of job vacancy, the companies set a criteria where qualified candidates are only able to go further for selection process like aptitude, gd, interview etc. They set some criteria so that most of them get rejected and it becomes easy for a company to start their selection process for remaining of them. And make a note that only the capable candidates get elected after selection process rest of them are removed out of competition. Qualification in other term is rejection. If you want to cross this rejection you need to study hard to get selected only for the process but you are selected only based on your abilities. They don't check your marks during interview but check your skills like confidence, communication skills, presentation, etc. With present level of education you can't sustain in a company merely scoring 80 or 90% in exams but you need to be practically oriented as well. There are various examples were candidates scoring lesser % are placed with higher CTC than those with 80-90%.
