Dear Sachin,....From a job seeker perspective, a salary range is the amount of compensation a candidate would accept for a position. A salary range, rather than a flat amount, is often provided when a company asks for salary requirements. For example, if a job posting asks for salary requirements, a candidate could say in the INR 3,25,000 - 4,5,000 range...
Giving a range provides for flexibility both in being considered for the job and in negotiating salary....Salary range is also affected by additional demographic and market factors. The number of people available to perform a specific job in the employer’s region, competition for employees with the needed skills and education, and the availability of jobs, in general help employers set the salary range for a particular job...if you like my post then click a LIKE...Thank You :-)
