In GD, the group is given a topic to be discussed in group. There is a moderator who only observes and dont generally asks question.

A topic is given in a GD to a group of candidates. The prime focus here is maintaining harmony, with good communication so that an amicable solution can be reached. But not always deep knowledge about the topic is given first priority. Its all about marching forward accommodating each and every person in the group.

No question or answers are sought. Actually it checks your logical, reasoning and communications skills along with team and leadership traits.
