Hi, A resume headline is something which should immediately gather attention of recruiter and should tell about yourself. For experienced people it could be:
Award winning performance throughout the career
Systems Engineer with 8 years of experience
For a person who is fresh out of college this can be tricky. For a fresh graduate, example headlines could be:
B. Tech in Computer Science, 2013
B. Tech in Computer Science looking for a challenging career.
If you have good CGPA or percentage, you could mention that as well. Something like:
B. Tech in Computer Science, 77%, 2013
If you have a website or a github link, which you think can make an impression, you can put the link as well.
You can also go creative and write something which shows something unique about your personality. Though I have seen creative resume headlines, but currently cannot think of any. And unfortunately I am not of creative type of personality, so cannot give some examples here.
Hope that solves your query,
Feel free to post more queries,
Thanks & Best of Luck!!
Hi Mr. Ananda,Your resume should connect you with the employer and should be positioned to land you the interview.
Firstly make yourself clear about the kind of job you are looking for. Resume title has to be different for different job profiles - for a job in your core mechanical sector you could title your resume as:
Entry level position for a fresh BE Mechanical graduate
