A quality assurance technician is a professional who performs a variety of inspections and tests on manufactured goods to ensure quality. This occupation is typically assigned to one or several stages of the production process in a manufacturing plant.
Qualifications: Most employers require a technical graduate for this occupation. Because the technician may work with devices to test the quality of goods, he should possess a technical aptitude, as well as the ability to use computers and electronic equipment. Quality assurance technicians can be found in almost every manufacturing environment. This includes electronics, computers, food, aerospace, textiles and other consumer products.
