Thanks Vicky...Since i left job in May 2013 ,if i planning for GATE and simultaneously doing some certification..whether this will consider as gap...?

yes it would be considered as GAP. and more the GAP in your career you would it difficult to clarify. If you clear GATE and join any govt job then there is no problem related to GAP period forever
