If you have some It knowledge and sure you have so try for HR post in IT organizations they are close related to your field and help more to progress in your career.

@krati Yes you can go in that direction as well. You can start as an IT recruiter initially without an MBA but to grow further in the field you will require MBA in HR.

Thanks for replying , my interest is in business development or marketing jobs but I before my MBA(which I will do this coming year) I just wanted have some exp in this field as a pre MBA job.So I wanted to know in which companies I could apply as I have already left my IT job .

You should have tried for the post of Business Analyst in the IT field itself. Anyways in BD, there are many other options like real estate. All the best
Hi Krati, there are vast number of fields of work available. But what you need to try and understand is your own skillset and what is your area of interest. This will help you move towards understanding which areas of work suit and interest you. Try talking to people around you like your friends, relatives, acquaintances basically as many people you can get hold of and try understanding what they do. This will give you a brief clarity on different industries and roles available. Then look at your interest areas and where you want to land up. And then try and work towards that area either through directly applying into these companies or though studying further and building your resume towards getting into these companies.
