Considering you are looking for a good position in a finance job, your graduation degree would not help you too much in the prowess. Am not really sure about the placements in Finance from your University but possibly adding on a few certifications or additional degrees can help like a CFA. There are also specific area related courses offered by institutions like FLIP and NSE which can help do focused study of area of interest. My suggestion is first try and figure out which areas interest you, then look at what certifications or degrees can get you there. Then accordingly prepare yourself. Also try finding people in your network who are working in the finance field. These could be though your friends, alumni or an acquaintance and talk to them for possible job opportunities and also requirements for their job and keep working towards it. You should find success if you keep trying towards your goal. Hope this answer helps. Do let me know in case of any further queries.
