Hi Linto,
Since you have specialized in VLSI design, that looks favorable to you. But, it depends on your interest. Since VLSI is a generic term-narrow your choice. Select the domain in VLSI that interests you most-Front End design/verification or Back end. Look at companies and job roles in each of these fields. Apply against them over right channels- company websites, job portals like Naukri and check if you have any of your friends. college alumni working in these companies who can refer you. Improve your profile-try to do more projects using downloadable tools like Modelsim etc. With a strong liking and profile, you will get a job.

All the best!

Search for a good institute for a placement oriented course in your region, otherwise best place to search is bangalore, hyderabad or pune.
Many VLSI core jobs lie in the area of physical design, FE/BE design, digital design, Verification etc. Getting a job in FE/Verification is easier than BE/physical. Choice is your to decide the field. For verification you have to be strong in programming like verilog, system verilog, UVM, OVM, VVM etc. For physical design job you need to be strong in core VLSI subjects and need to know the design tools operation. All the Best
