QUESTION
I have completed B.Tech in ECE this year, and I'm confused in selecting my job pref. domains.I want a job related to my branch(technical),but,of which kind, I dnt know. I hv not done any certification course or anything.I'm eligible for some CSE jobs bt dnt hv much knwledge abt the skills required

ok..it seems to be ur confused.
if ur good in IT lang. i.e C,C+,JAVA then go for IT field they offeref u good salary.if u r not intrested to go into IT then for electronics field u have Vlsi,embedded,telecom,networking sectors.Try for certification and get job in the industry...also searched which industry hire freshers.You also have govt. field score good mark in GATE and go for BSNL,MTNL.BEL etc.

If you are interested in IT domain, you can do some short term courses. CS has little more job openings compared to EC jobs.
In good training institutes they'll teach you from basics. Rest is upto you, study well and work hard. Never expect a job directly from that institute, atleast it will give you some knowledge about industries and what they are looking for..

Tushar Sharma Sir, I dont know what to opt for as my job preference. What are the preferences I should opt for.... eg. IT-hardware,IT-software, Telecom-Hardware??etc??

SIJO Sam It depends on ur interest. If u hv interest in microcontrollers and programming go for embedded.
if u r not at all interested in electronics go for IT jobs
Telecom has protocol development, which deals again with software.
RF companies r there where network theory, analog n digital comm comes. .
