Its good that you have an interest to study further. I know that 4 years of study in ECE spans a lot of subjects, but it is good to assess what favors you the most. Also, you can retrospect on how your liking and scoring correlated during the study. Suppose, you were interested in DSP and you scored well in that, it is obvious that you liked it and found the course interesting. If there is skepticism on the environment and industrial factors surrounding the scope of the subject, do research on what jobs outside, demand and expect from ME students. If the study is purely academic, then you must not worry about it.

Some key subjects/domains that are often the choice amongst ECE students are: VLSI design, DSP and Image processing, robotics, Communication networks, Analog Electronics, Embedded systems and other allied branches.

Once you have zeroed in on the course, your next action item would be to scan the colleges that offer them and that too effectively.
