You are from ECE candidate so you have so many options for Jobs .But your B-Tech degree marks must be above 60% .

After B.Tech in ECE , you have lots of scope in govt sector like BSNL , MTNL , DRDO , SAIL , BHEL , BALCO ,State Electricity Board , Airport Authority of India Ltd , GAIL , BARC ,ISRO , ONGC , NTPS etc.

The other govt sector jobs are -SSC ,UPSC etc .
But If you are a frshers candidate so you are eligible for On-campus of TCS ,CTS ,IBM ,WIPRO ,HP,ACCENTURE , HP , CAPGEMINI ,INFOSYS etc.

Other few sectors where B.Tech Electronics and Communication graduates can find jobs are:

Telecommunication
Software Engineering/IT
Power sector
Hardware Manufacturing
Home Appliance and VLSI design, etc
Television Industry
Research & Development

The job profile of these engineers will generally involve setting up networks and equipments, process and maintenance of electronics gears and systems etc. Hardware firms like IBM as well as communication network firms like Nokia Siemens also take in EC graduates in plenty. Top notch IT firms also prefer EC graduates for SE

But if you want to go for higher study you can sit for GATE , CAT , MAT ,CMAT exam .This exam is conduct for M-tech course or MBA course .
