Don't expect a pure electronics field, Its very hard to find a pure electronics job these days. And most of the companies will prefer, the candidate with both software and hardware knowledge. It will be better if you have both knowledge.
You will be narrowing your job search when you select telecom sector (if you mean RF, telecom sector). But good scope is there outside India, especially gulf countries.
