I am a Electronics and Communication Engineering Graduate I'm Confused to start my career. Whether to go into IT field and change my field completely or go in my field. Opportunity wise IT field has more openings. What is to be done as a fresher?
hello sister, there s no need to worry about it... it just a confusion happen in all of us... first u choose the field, which u willing to work or service.... i am just suggest why you trying to write competitive exams like civil services.....
there is nothing like my field and IT field because whatever we have studied in college life that is entirely different from what you are going to work in industry.
Industry domain you need to learn from basics and as per industry standard and based on projects requirements.
So as per my suggestion grab the opportunity whatever coming 1 in your hand and join the industry with full passion;this attitude will help you in your growth.

Hello dear, this is Ravi. right now I'm in SIEMENS Building Technologies Ltd. I want to tell you that you need not to change your field as our Electronics and Communication Field id very good. you can find many ways in he stream.
Eg. 1. Networking (Telecom) ,
2. Embedded system designing ,
3. Automation ,
4. Hardware networking.
But I sugest you to stay in the field you choosed before 4 years.

First of all think what you are interested in. Is it IT or any core subject like communication field or Electronics. I am a BTech Electronics & Communication graduate. I work in communication field. Trust me if you try you can get in any field you want. Yeah but opportunity wise IT is better but other fields have enough opportunity you just have to grab it.

thankyou so much sir for your suggestion ... i am at present trying that... what ever comes trying to attend but.. to even grab there are very few.. IT companies's requirement is to be already having a knowledge of some advance computer language which i lack.... so if i want to take up some course
u should try in IT field. dont get confuse because in future this field will have more demand compare to any other. but make sure aboutur interest tha in which field u r interested.

First u choose which field u like?.if u like to work in core field,do a plc,scada,embedded or any one of the course.especially if u like to work in design or r&d;field,do an electronic cad course.then only u will join in a good company.
Hi Sruthi, i will suggest you to go with ur core field. IT sector is also good. But EC also have a good opportunity. And last decision is ur. Listen the voice of ur soul and go with that.
