If you are good in technical/core, you can opt for core electronics fielsd like VLSI, Embedded, WiMax, Radar Processing etc. For this you may need a professional course to get a makeover yourself about the real professional world.

Improve your communication skills, even if you know 100% and lacks communication, there is no use. Because interviewer can judge you only if you communicate. Based on your interest, select the subject and try to study as much as possible. Make a list of that companies and apply everywhere. But don't loose hope, getting a job in the core industry is little difficult.
