At the early stages of education, no one can become a Professor! To get the prestigious award of 'Professor,' it takes decades of honourable service and teaching experience.
A newbie starts as a Lecturer or Assistant Professor, then advances to Associate Professor, Reader, Dean, Professor, HOD, Principal, or any similar administrative position.
In response to your question, my recommendation is to apply for a teaching position in an institution that does not require a research degree. If you are fortunate enough to be offered one based on your NET qualifications, please apply for a Ph.D. degree under the supervision of an approved guide as soon as possible. At the very least, it will take four years to complete.
You will be eligible for a permanent teaching position and will have acquired teaching experience by this time. Every year's worth of experience is taken into account.
