Hi Ravi!
'Tell me something about yourself' is same as 'Introduce yourself'. Both are introductory note.
'Introduce yourself' is a tricky question. It is not as simple as it sounds so better prepare it well before you appear for an interview. Here are few points which will help you to frame your introductory note:
1) Start with your full-name followed by your current position(here, student of accounting field) followed by organization or institute in which you are placed and at last with your current location. This will be your first sentence of introduction. For eg. I'm Mr.Ankil Goswami pursuing Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering from IIT bombay from Mumbai.
2) Your next sentence will comprise of hobbies or interest or some experience you had in the relevant field. For eg. My hobby is playing chess or My interest is programming in java, php, etc. But make sure what you say is true and you have some knowledge about it. So prepare well.
Stop after this and wait for the interviewer to ask you. Be confident. You are the best person from whom the interviewer can know more about you, so be honest and confident.
