Pallavi, Pay should be a major factor initially, you should focus on your learning and job satisfaction. Working in a consultancy can help u get an idea on several industries and job roles. Recruitment and selection is always and important part of HR role..
So my suggestion is if you are fine with the job, continue doing it and may be you can keep looking better opportunities and understand the industry. leaving or sticking are not options- no one sticks to one job and leaving is not good until u have a better job.

Pallavi, You didn't mention working period. Let it leave, think yourself ' are filling comfortable' in same area. As per me if you are, leave organization after completion of your study because of to get a job need to attend interview by this way your loose your important time which you can use in your study, which is so important to you. Don't take decision on ans of any one, read every one but take decision own yourself. Always hear your inner voice.

Hey pallavi this is vineet see there are two thing about being in HR.
1. HR now days considered to be the core funtionality of the business or you can say strategic funtion,
2. They pay you less in the begining it take time to increase the pace of the salary, but once it is done you will be paid high.
As you said your interest area is HR then you should stick on to this company for a quite time because here you will be learning a lot about the field, when you think it is done and personelly you feel that you deserve more then move on. Your first job always teaches you a lot you learn a lot and you will get less opportunity to contribute in the beginning as you are in the beginning stages of your carrer. Have patience things will look far better when you deliver in your work.

Hi Pallavi,

Do not leave the firm. Grasp the things well, become a master. As you are in early stage of your career, you should not run after money. Money will come automatically once you are master of your field.
