QUESTION
hi,
This is mohamed thawfiq, i did my B.Tech(IT) 2012 passed out, and placed in top MNC company(i have offer letter & service agreement) but unfortunately they not give the date of joining. i wait for date of joining and now work in BPO, is it right or wrong., pls give some sugesstion

its better to join in BPO to improve your communication skills meanwhile searching in startup company jobs for getting experience. k all the best

Rishabh Jain Communication can be improved by simply reading a newspaper, You do not need to join a BPO with an intent to enhance your communication skills. It will just degrade your mental state since the environment in BPO is not for techies, you will feel out of the place.

Indwin E Joel Its not the case Mr. Mohamed. No issues. There are also ample number of scope in BPO industry. Its just that we have not taken it seriously and factually. Also, opt for some certification course that you can show to your principal employee when the DOJ is received. All the very Best.

narayana kanth join BPO mean getting salary and know the responsibilities not only sake of communication skills of job environment and don't dependent on your parents while getting salary.In present society job is job not only BPO.

instead of BPO,try to get a IT job somewhere else as you r B.tech(IT)...BPO is waste of time...about joining,surely they gonna call u...sooner or later....n as u said its MNC it wont be difficult for u to get another IT job...try reading advanced technology...bt BPO is all crap....dont do that...all the best

Instead of working in a BPO you must rather hone your skills by going through certifications for languages like JAVA, C++, C# , PERL etc. You can find training institutes everywhere and at a very nominal price. This will really help you a lot when you will actually get into the industry. Don't run after money, just keep increasing your competencies, money will definitely come your way.
