I have completed my mtech in instrumentation and BE in electronics and
Telecommunication. After my mtech, I have worked in an embedded company
for 2 yrs. Now, I want to switch my job. I have 2 options-
automobile or embedded companies. Plz tell me which one have fastest growth
n high salary.
What you mean by automobile? Mechanical or automotive software? In automotive software also lot of embedded work is there, but difference is that they deals with lot different protocols like CAN, LIN, etc.
You will find lot of embedded companies than companies dealing with automotive software. If you get into the best companies you will be heavily paid. You can choose the company of your interest.
Advantage is that if you know the embedded concepts you can even switch the domain later.

Hello, automobile means I wanted to say mechanical i.e. OEMs like Toyota, Ford etc.
I'm in automotive software company right now. I don't think changing domain in embedded will provide me any advantage. I wanted to know advantages and disadvantages while switching between OEM n automotive software
