You're in the same situation in which I was about a year ago. I had pursued my MBA in Marketing and Finance and I didn't find success in any Marketing-related job. Also, I did not have enough knowledge and self confidence in Finance. But I knew that my communication skills were above average, and I was often praised for my communication skills. So finally I started working as a Content Writer in a small firm. Although my job does not match my academic qualifications, I am quite happy with what I am doing today, and I am also confident that I will grow well in this field in future. So find out what you are good at and what you are interested in, and start working in that field, no matter how 'off the track' it is.

Hi Rinku,
Now a days it is too tough to get job in finance especially for MBA finance. Because most of the company needs ICWA or CA personnel, If you don't like to build to career in Mktg. my advice is to take additional qualification like ICWA or CA.

Hi, good evening Rinku , If you are not interested in marketing & you are interested in finance then you may go for audit office and work there. Really you will get good skill , knowledge & experience within short period. But the salary is less in the begining you don't see about the salary . After one year experience you will be select in MNC.

Dear Rinku, if you actually wants to make your career in Finance, start polishing and enhance your skills, you have to separate yourself from other fresher, for this highlight your profile with finance related technical training like Tally ERP9, if possible go for SAP.
Along with this join some good firm as trainee, since this is your learning phase if company do not pay you anything don't bother just enhance your skill. Surely you will get the good opportunity, maybe possible the company where you have done training may hire you. Therefore do training with dedication show your skills.

You need to join a financial company but remember one thing that you must join it in a small phase so that your mistakes can be tolerated. See people always try and run for big companies from the begining but they forget one thing in their mind tht by doing ths they are loosing their chance from learning. Assuming you have prior experience in marketing, then yes, moving into finance may be a more complicated proposition to say the least. Having said that, make a 'wish list' of companies where you wish to apply for roles pertaining to finance. Check their websites, apply online where applicable (yes, this works - I can vouch for it with my own experience) and at the same time connect with relevant company professionals on social media sites such as LinkedIn.

If you are a fresher, the same rules apply. What is common however is the fact that a large degree of patience is required - and the entire process can take time. So hang in there and I am sure things will work out for the best.
