hello i have done my MBA in HR in 2011 and i have experience 1.5year in marketing and currently i m not working any where because i m looking for hr job as for my vision and i give many interview in different company and consultancy but not got job yet. so what should i do????
The job of an HR professional is more or less like a Marketing Person. You have to market your organisation to the outside world to attract talent and inside to retain talent.
So wheres the Vision Gap. You were doing the same role.. why not continue in marketing for a while since you have already had that exposure and then shift while you get a chance in that organisation.
It's all in the mind- People crave for cross functional exposures. You have been lucky. I did my MBA in HR and worked for 5 years as an HR professional and now I am running a retail organisations which is purely about sales.
The thread is common just see it.
Alternatively you can convince you next interviewer giving the same logic.. God Bless!
