Malineni Lakshmaiah Group of Colleges were prominently established in the year 1999 under the Stewardship of Dr. Malineni Lakshmaiah, at Singarayakonda, spread over 64 acres of land near the NH-5 (Chennai-Calcutta). The Engineering College is affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The Institution is located in Singarayakonda, Prakasam Dist., and A.P and is well connected by the road NH-5 (Chennai to Kolkatta) and double electrified railway line linking major cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam and Tirupathi directly.

The College was accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for all 4 courses in the Year 2008-09 for four years.
