With a mission to impart the quality technical education to each and every segment of society, Reddyjana Sangha coveted dream came into existence in 1999 with the beginning of Vemana Institute of Technology. Karnataka Reddyjana Sangha, one of the pioneer in the field of Education guided by a well-known Educationist Sri. H.N. Vijayaraghava Reddy.

Vemana Institute of Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) and is sanctioned by the government of Karnataka.

It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. Vemana IT is located in the heart of Bangalore city and has a well laid out campus and infrastructure with excellent facilities to pursue research and P.G. courses.

The Institution is located in Koramangala, Bangalore, the silicon valley of India. Being located in the heart of city, it is well connected by good transport network. It is only 8 km each from city Railway station and cantonment Railway stations and 6 km away from Bangalore Airport.

In a span of thirteen years, Vemana IT has grown by leaps and bounds and has established all the infrastructure and facilities required as per the norms of affiliated University (VTU) and AICTE. The class apart infrastructure that has big and spacious class rooms and laboratories fully equipped with all the modern equipments and technology. The Institute has good interaction with IT Companies (both hardware and software). Vemana IT invite the professionals from these companies for visits, guest lectures and seminars to provide the student a better exposure to the real world.

Vemana IT has an excellent placement cell. The cell is responsible for generating and getting the students aware of information pertaining to the demands and the recruitments going on. Number of companies like Wipro, Tata Infotech and TYCO visited Vemana IT recently and have recruited more than 50% of the final year student.
