The Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET), Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India was established in 2001 by the Kovai Kalaimagal Educational Trust (KKET) to provide quality education to the young community with the motto of 'Light the Light Within'. CIET is affiliated to Anna University, approved by AICTE, Accredited with 'A' Grade by NAAC and an ISO 9001:2008 certified Institution. CIET offers 7 Under Graduate and 7 Post Graduate Engineering courses and management courses. The institute is located in a campus spreading over 26.5 acres, about 25 kms from Coimbatore city, the institute has a very picturesque and serene atmosphere surrounded by green hillocks.
